GM Consult has been engaged by Burwood Council to undertake a strategic level public transport demand assessment for use in the Burwood/Canada Bay precinct local area transport plan.
The demand assessment contemplated is intended to be a strategic level assessment to broadly inform Council’s planning activities. The objectives of the assessment are to: describe current public transport use at a local level; develop a limited number of broad local corridors for future public transport services; and assess what the indicative range of future demand for public transport services in this corridor might be. Gerhard Malan will lead this assignment and will be assisted by Neil Prosser, Greg New and Jody Connor.
